Terms of Service
Aycabtu for job seekers (aycabtu.com)
Last updated: 3 August 2026
1. Who we are
Aycabtu (aycabtu.com) is an AI-powered job application assistant. It turns your own documents and a job posting into a tailored resume, a cover letter and interview preparation.
Aycabtu is established in Ravenswaaij, the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 42115703, VAT identification number NL003323176B81. You can reach us at admin@aycabtu.com.
2. What these terms cover
These terms apply when you use Aycabtu as an individual, for your own job applications, whether or not you pay for it. That includes the tools you can use without an account, such as the ATS check and the salary check.
By creating an account, or by using a tool that does not require one, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
3. Your account
You need to be at least 16 years old to create an account. Keep your login details to yourself: anything done through your account counts as done by you. Tell us at admin@aycabtu.com if you think someone else has access.
One account per person. Creating extra accounts to claim free allowances again is not allowed, and we may remove those accounts.
4. What the service does, and what it does not do
Aycabtu generates text with the help of an AI model. That output is a starting point that you review and edit, not a finished document you should send unread.
Specifically:
- We build on the documents you provide. If those contain a mistake, the output will repeat it.
- AI output can be wrong or incomplete. Check every claim about yourself before you send an application.
- Scores, match percentages and salary figures are estimates based on the information available to us. They are not a promise about how any employer or applicant tracking system will judge you.
- Nothing in the service is legal, financial or career advice, and nothing in it is a guarantee that you will be invited, hired or paid a particular amount.
You decide what you send to an employer, and you stay responsible for what you send.
5. Credits, free use and payment
Most AI actions cost one credit. A new account starts with a number of free credits, and several checks have their own free allowance, which is shown on the page itself before you use it.
You can buy extra credits in packs. The packs and their prices are shown on the credits page, and the amount shown at checkout is the total you pay, including any VAT that applies. Payment runs through our payment provider Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
Credits are bought for use in your own account. They do not expire while your account exists, they cannot be transferred to someone else, and they are not exchangeable for money except as described in section 6 and section 7.
6. Your right of withdrawal
As a consumer in the EU you have fourteen days to withdraw from a purchase without giving a reason. That period starts on the day of purchase.
Credits you have not used. Email admin@aycabtu.com within those fourteen days and we refund them in full, to the payment method you used, within fourteen days of receiving your message.
Credits you have used. When you spend a credit, you ask us to perform immediately and you accept that the right of withdrawal ends for that credit, because the generation has then been delivered. Credits you still hold remain refundable within the fourteen days.
You do not need a form for this, but if you prefer one, the EU model withdrawal form may be used. A short email stating that you withdraw is enough.
7. When something goes wrong
Generation guarantee. If a generation fails or comes back unusable because of an error on our side, we restore the credit automatically. If that does not happen, tell us at admin@aycabtu.com and we put the credit back.
Not satisfied with a result. Tell us what went wrong and we restore the credit, so you can try again. What we put right is the credit, not the payment: there is no separate money-back guarantee beyond the withdrawal right in section 6.
That is deliberate, and it is why you can try before you spend anything. Every new account starts with free credits, several checks have their own free allowance, and the smallest pack exists so you can buy a little before you buy more.
8. Your documents and your content
Your documents stay yours. Uploading them gives us permission to process them for one purpose only: producing the output you asked for, and storing it in your account so you can come back to it. We do not use your documents to train AI models, and we do not sell them.
The output we generate for you is yours to use however you like, including commercially.
Only upload documents you are allowed to share. A reference letter or a test report will often mention other people; that is fine for the purpose of your own application, but do not upload material about someone else that you have no reason to hold.
How we handle your data is described in our privacy policy.
9. Use that is not allowed
- Fabricating qualifications, employers or experience, or asking the service to do so on your behalf.
- Using the service for anyone other than yourself as a commercial service, or reselling access to it.
- Automated scraping, bulk querying, or attempts to bypass rate limits, free allowances or payment.
- Uploading malware, or content that is unlawful or infringes someone else's rights.
- Attempts to disrupt the service or to reach data that is not yours.
If you do any of this we may suspend or close your account. Where we can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to explain.
10. Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep the service available, but we do not promise uninterrupted access. Maintenance, an outage at a supplier, or a problem with the AI provider can make part of the service unavailable for a while. If a generation fails for that reason, section 7 applies.
We develop the service continuously, so features can change or disappear. If we remove something you spent credits on and cannot offer an equivalent, we restore those credits to your account.
11. Liability
We are liable for damage caused by our failure to meet these terms, under the rules of Dutch law. Nothing here limits our liability for intent or deliberate recklessness on our part, for death or personal injury, or any other liability that the law does not allow us to limit. Your statutory rights as a consumer always apply, whatever else these terms say.
Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows: we are not liable for a decision an employer makes about you, for a job you do not get, for an application you send without checking it, or for damage that follows from you relying on generated text that turned out to be wrong. The service supports your decisions, it does not make them.
12. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Aycabtu at any time, and you can delete your account yourself from your settings. Deleting your account removes your documents, generated content and any remaining credits, and that cannot be undone. If you still hold credits you bought within the last fourteen days, ask for a refund before you delete, because we cannot reconstruct the account afterwards.
We may close an account for the reasons in section 9. If we do, we refund the credits you have left, limited to the credits you paid for in the twelve months before we close the account. Free credits are not refunded, because nothing was paid for them, and neither are credits bought longer ago than that. We do not refund at all if the account was used to defraud us.
13. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms, for example when the service changes or the law does. If a change matters to you, we announce it by email or on the site before it takes effect. The date at the top shows the current version. If you do not want to accept a change, you can stop using the service and ask for a refund of credits you have not used.
14. Applicable law and disputes
Dutch law applies. If you live in another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of the country you live in; this clause does not take those away.
If we cannot resolve something together, the dispute goes to the competent Dutch court, without prejudice to your right to bring it before the court of your own place of residence where the law gives you that right.
Please write to admin@aycabtu.com first. Most things are quicker to fix that way.
